Overview
The WS5 motorised facing head is held on a rotating and translating axis and managed by WS machines. It is used for facing or internal turning jobs (linear or non-linear) on tubular cylindrical bodies. An electronic control panel allows the operator to control all machining steps. The radial movement of the tool is controlled for both position and speed, enabling automatic precision machining.
Dedicated modular extensions allow the system to handle different diameter ranges. The counterweight can be proportionally set to achieve a perfectly balanced system.
