Self Centering Sliding Support
This self-centring support slides with the tool and the rotating shaft. It follows the tool along a machined circular surface. Three legs expand simultaneously using compressed air. It follows the tool throughout the entire machining stage. Positioned directly after the tool, it functions as a shock absorber to dampen cutting vibrations. As it self-centers on refined surfaces, it consistently maintains the shaft on the axis, ensuring maximum precision under all conditions and lengths.
