VEGA Series
The VEGA series meets the high demand of the automotive, aerospace, and nautical industries, as well as major pattern makers and composite parts manufacturers.
VEGA are high-speed 5-axis machining centers with a motorized suspended bridge structure that slides on two extremities. They are constructed from very thick, welded, heat-treated steel. To provide a solution with a dynamically rigid structure, the VEGA series design is optimized to offer a unique combination of performance, short machining times, flexibility, high-quality finish, and long-term rigidity.
Linear axis movement is managed by powerful rack and pinion drives with two electronically preloaded servo motors on each side. Electronic backlash recovery is achieved through the digital servo-drive, which generates a mechanical preload between the two pinions (mechanical coupling).
